MORTON COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A bizarre twist to the Dakota Access Pipeline protest underway in Morton County, North Dakota.

Youtube video’s posted online by “Anonymous Agents” have issued threats against President Obama, North Dakota’s Governor, national guard soldiers, law enforcement officers, and both executives and construction workers involved in the pipeline.  The video’s were first seen last week.

The FBI is involved in the investigation.  Special Agent Kyle Loven can’t comment on whether it’s the work of the international, “Anonymous” hacking group but he says the loose knit group has been on the FBI’s “radar” for some time.

“The FBI is certainly aware of some of the videos which are out there” according to FBI Special Agent Kyle Loven. “The FBI has been sharing information with respect to the situation in general with our state and local partners in North Dakota; wanting to make certain that this situation does not become any more volatile than it already has.”

“There’s no room in civil discourse for threats of any kind” Loven said.
